Privacy policy

This privacy policy describes how thetalab ("obsrv") collects, uses, and discloses information about users of our website and our hosted observability platform.

Information we collect

• Account information. Email, name, organization, and authentication identifiers from supported identity providers.
• Customer trace data. The trace payloads and artifacts you submit through our SDKs and API. We process this data on your behalf as a processor under your direction.
• Operational telemetry. Logs, metrics, and request metadata used to operate the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the service, secure operations, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use customer trace data to train models.

Data residency & retention

Customers can configure storage region and retention policy per project. Default retention is 30 days for the Pro tier and 7 days for the Hobby tier. Enterprise customers can deploy in their own VPC.

Subprocessors

We use a limited set of subprocessors to operate the service. The current list is published at /subprocessors.

Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data through self-serve flows in the dashboard, or by contacting privacy@obsrv.tech.
